Beach Shenannigans

This is Barbie and Bender having a great time chasing each other up and down the beach.

When I was looking through the videos I realised I had Barbie shaking and her tail does funny things. I decided to make a slo-mo video.

Ha ha ha! BOL! If that isn't a strip tease act performed by a tail I don't know what is! Too hilarious!
You guys got sooooooo lucky to find a whole deserted beach to run wild on! Happy times for sure!

That slow mo video is hilarious! For a second, I thought it was going to be the stripper music playing in the background.

I can just imagine how much fun Bunny would have on that beach with Barbie and Bender! You are awfully lucky!

What a gorgeous beach!! Is that close to the city too?? Or what about Freemantle? (I think that's where we might end up if we go) - it looks so long & empty - are dogs allowed on it all the time and everywhere? I suppose it's normally a lot busier than this, though? That was the problem we found with a lot of the dog beaches we took Honey to - at least in Queensland - there are so few available that it seems like EVERY dog in the state is there and it's just so crowded and a bit stressful with so many strange dogs milling together...

The beach is a fair drive from our place, because we live basically at the foot of the hills, north east of Perth. The river and Whiteman Park are much closer.

Perth has kilometres and kilometres of beach. There are 3 dog beaches that I know of. There's Leighton (nearer to Freo), City Beach (which is the one we go to), and Trigg (which is to the North). It is usually busier, but if there is a bit of wind it's quiet, or any clouds in the sky (though cloudy skies are rare in Perth) it's quiet. It's eerie how quiet everything is this weekend though.

Love both videos even if I felt a pang of envy seeing Barbie's tail! I'm used to Beryl not having one now but I do miss her tail, her nubbin doesn't 'speak' to me like her tail did.
