barbie's 'pray'

So she's mainly got 'pray', next time I'll work on the head position, but it kind of looks like praying! :) she's got it down in one move now but I think she's being queued by the object (the chair) as well as the verbal command. I will work on it with park benches and stuff like that when we are out.

I think I need to get one of those 101 trick books to see how many I can get Barbie to do. She is such a sharp little cookie.

So here is the video. Excuse Bender's barking. I am proud of Barbie not being distracted though. Also note Mittens lazing on the couch, she is probably thinking 'I'm glad I'm not a dog!'

What a smarty she is! Zephyr and Astro were looking all around to try and find out where the barking was coming from. :-)

I didn't think anything could be cuter than commando, but I was wrong! Squeeee! Barbie is adorable doing that!

Have you taught her to take a bow (or curtsey like a lady)? That one's pretty easy to teach!

hahaha yeah 'bow' is on the list.... she flops down into a drop all the time though so I need her to do it when I have the clicker in my hand!

Aw...it's SO nice to see someone training a Greyhound!! :-)

I've tried this trick with Honey too but never managed to get her head down to her paws - I don't know if it's her deep chest but she seemed to really struggle with that position. Still, if Barbie can do it...!

and head down to paws is still a challenge with Barbie because she gets so wiggly/excited about yummies ;)

Oh wow, that is so cool! I can see Frankie doing that but I think Beryl would manage to get her long legs tangled up. Hmm, I should try though. Well done you two:)

I think it's good for Barbie's core strength and helps with her sits. Bender has been watching and I think he will learn too eventually.
