Back from NZ

The dogs are tired after their exciting two weeks in the kennel, and the kitties are being somewhat demanding, but we are now home from our flying two week visit to the North Island of New Zealand. While we were there we met up with Beryl, Frankie and Sue from Greyhounds Can Sit. We also met a few of their friends.

I met a lot of kitties on our travels as well, N likes to call me 'The Cat Whisperer'. I will do a bigger post with photos of everyone soon, but in the mean time here is the holiday video. You will spot the other blogging doggies at the end, but there is also footage from the Bay of Islands, a lot of stuff around Rotorua, snow at Whakapapa, basically all the great bits!

What a nice trip! I wish I could go to New Zealand someday. That's so beautiful place.

Love the video, Jet! I didn't know there was that much snow on the mountain, looks like winter, lol! Was awesome to meet you both. We didn't really have enough time to talk though. Where did you see the lion cub and deer? The flying fox looks like fun but Nic can still keep her bungy:)

the lion cub and deer were at the Rainbow Springs wildlife park near Rotorua. I agree, the canopy tour was one of the highlights of the trip ;) and Nic's bungy swing was the most expensive 20 seconds of the whole trip too lol.
and yes, a lot of snow, probably more snow than I saw in Queenstown in winter when I went to ski!
What a fun adventurous trip. And to meet Beryl and Frankie was icing on the cake.
That looks like it was such a fun trip! How cool that you got to meet Beryl, Frankie, and Sue too!

Amazing! And how exciting you got to meet Frankie and Beryl! I'd love to make it to New Zealand one day. It has all the beauty of Australia without the deadly critters!
Sounds lovely. NZ is on my bucket list.

Watching that video makes me wish life could be such fun at will.
I love this sort of trip where i do not see too many people around while travelling as long as it is safe.
